Darren Copeland is the founding Artistic Director of New Adventures in Sound Art and is a Canadian Sound Artist. He creates work for radio, performance, and installation with a focus on soundscape composition and multichannel spatialization. In 2011 he premiered a new public art work using the Holosonic Audio Spotlights with Andreas Kahre at the Queen Elizabeth Pool in Edmonton and was also commissioned by TIFF/Bell Lightbox to compose a soundscape of contemporary Toronto sounds to Dziga Vertov’s Man With a Movie Camera.
